Premium Matcha Kawane, 30g

This premium Tencha comes from Kawane, one of Japan’s finest tea-growing areas in Shizuoka. Made from the Yabukita and Okumidori cultivars, the leaves are shaded for three weeks before being harvested, steamed, sorted and dried. Unlike Sencha or Gyokuro, Tencha is not rolled, helping to preserve its valuable contents before grinding. The result is a bright green powder with a full-bodied, gently herbal flavour and no bitterness.
