Mao Feng comes from Yunnan’s “big leaf” tea bushes. Unlike other green teas, it is not rolled – the leaves and buds stay mostly whole. The taste is bold and nutty, yet soft and enjoyable when brewed correctly. This is the highest grade of Yunnan Mao Feng available! First spring harvest: very delicate buds, lively umami and sweetness that soothes and energizes. Taste: green and vegetal, with chestnut and fresh floral notes, a sweet aftertaste, and an appetizing effect.
