Tie Guan Yin, oolong

Fancy Grade Tie Guan Yin Made from genuine Tie Guan Yin cultivar from Gande village in Anxi County, Fujian Province. The turquoise-blue Tie Guan Yin tea is widely known among gourmets worldwide and is a benchmark among oolongs. It is prepared in a special way: the leaves are fermented about 40%, then tightly rolled into hard balls. Its characteristics resemble green teas due to light fermentation. Light fermentation preserves all vitamins, amino acids, and fresh aroma. It lightly invigorates and promotes body rejuvenation. Tie Guan Yin tea has a distinctive, very personal sweet taste and floral aroma, dominated by lilac or iris. Preparation: – Rinse the vessel clean and briefly pour boiling water to warm it. – 1 tsp of tea per 200 ml of water – Up to 5 infusions – Brewing temperature: 85–90 °C – The first infusion (5 seconds) should be discarded.
