Hathikuli

The name “Hathikuli” combines two words: “Hati,” meaning elephant, and “Kuli,” meaning guard. The Hathikuli tea estate is located near Kaziranga National Park, frequently visited by wandering elephants. Young shoots are carefully hand-picked from clonal bushes, immediately steamed, gently rolled, and dried. This organic tea is now ready to brew and showcase its distinguished quality. The open, wiry leaves are unusual for Assam teas, with a matte, light green sheen. This is a beautiful, fresh green tea that stays true to its Assam character. Brewing suggestion: 1–3 minutes at 75–80 °C, using 4 tsp per liter of water.
